Hermit Woods Winery is a small boutique winery located in the heart of Meredith. Their high-quality wines are made with an emphasis on locally grown fruit and raw honey. They have a small organic vineyard in Sanbornton and they work closely with local farmers and pickers to find the best possible fruit. You’ll find their wine available in their tasting room and local wine shops and restaurants in surrounding communities. In addition to wine, they offer a small menu of lighter meals to share and you can find some of the best local live music up in The Loft.

Crazy Cat Winery & Cafe

Crazy Cat is a small, boutique winery located just minutes from Newfound Lake in Bristol. The cafe and tasting room are located in the carriage house of a 1880s victorian home. Jinx, the cat, was the inspiration behind the winery name and he is missed by everyone that knew him. Their wines are produced on site using locally sourced fruits and a variety of grapes and juices from around the world. The also have a great menu that includes charcuterie, soup, salad, sandwiches, and desserts.

Gilmanton Winery & Restaurant

Through the quiet, rolling hills on Gilmanton, is a winery is located in part of a home that was once owned by the author of the book, Peyton Place, Grace Metallious. It’s a favorite of the locals as the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. In addition to wine tastings, they host brunch, Murder Mystery nights, special dinners, and private events.

Black Bear Vineyard

Black Bear Vineyard & Winery spans 18 acres of beautiful rolling hills in Salisbury and is one of the largest vineyards in the state. They grow 7 varieties of estate wines, including 4 white wines, 3 red wines and several unique blends.

Whippletree Winery

Located in historic Tamworth, Whippletree Winery was once housed in a 1940s summer cottage which was moved from Ossipee Lake to Tamworth to save the building. The building was originally owned by Virgil D. White who patented the snowmobile in 1917. Whippletree Winery is “the winery in the woods” where a welcoming relaxed atmosphere can be found. The winery is also a great location to host your next event!
